An extension of San Diego Padres’ Petco Park for summer baseball games and used for picnicking, kids play and game-watching from an outfield area knoll, Park at the Park is also the city park anchoring the surrounding high-rise neighborhood year round.

Extensive study was needed to link a neighborhood park and major entertainment venue successfully, ensuring a rich outdoor experience, day or night, game or not; and the park is a link in the growing chain of downtown San Diego parks.
