



By carefully studying the desert climate, sun angles, prevailing winds and significant vistas, the team was able to create a facility that buoys the senses and breaks the dreary mold of affordable multi-housing for seniors.
Ninety homes were grouped into six-plexes and organized around pedestrian spaces and seven distinct courtyards and amenities: a fireplace, spa, citrus orchard, swimming pool, palm grove, flower garden and a game lawn aimed partly at visiting grandchildren.
