The Park for East Village is one of a string of parks planned for downtown San Diego. On an inactive earthquake fault, the park has a design strongly influenced by geology, with a diagonal walkway representing the fault below. Walls, trellises and other features shift in the landscape mimicking seismic movements. Public spaces and activity zones enhance the East Village neighborhood and provide much needed open space.
