Located in the UCSD East Campus Health Science neighborhood at the University of California San Diego the parking structure abuts the northern park preserve, and athletic fields. The major mass of the structure is pushed below grade to minimize disruption to the habitat and the view shed. To provide useable recreation space the roof of the structure is sized for regulation soccer and serves as a multi-purpose sport field.
