A sense of design now shapes the city’s downtown area, including: several historic public buildings; a new town square; expanded pedestrian spaces; and development of a “Main Street” along Culver Boulevard.
The new sensibility gives Culver City a unique identity, distinct from the urban sprawl of the Los Angeles Basin. It grew from an extensive public workshop process.
