



The site planning and landscape design for this branch library provides a strong street presence and the sense of a pedestrian-oriented civic building to an otherwise automobile-oriented community in suburban San Diego.
Indigenous granite boulders and rip-rap reflect the surrounding natural geology and reinforce the architectural geometries, creating a backdrop for groves of flowering Jacaranda trees, native California Sycamores and Coast Live Oaks.
