ucsd stuart collection 'bear'
As part of the Stuart Collection of art on the campus of the University of California at San Diego the artists Tim Hawkinson has created “Bear,” a 23-foot tall assemblage of eight, uncarved granite boulders weighing 180 tons. Spurlock Poirier provided technical support for the integration of the “Bear” with their design for the surrounding Academic Court.
