Master Plan update and design guidelines for the academic mall part of the School of Medicine neighborhood. The plan defines three distinct landscapes for the academic mall, a formal series of north-south open spaces tying medical buildings to a residential court at the south end. Rustic, Discrete and Transitional landscape zones mix informality with the distinct personalities of the buildings. On the north is a below-grade auditorium linked to the Pharmaceutical Sciences building, and a Medicinal Garden highlighting the mall’s foreground.
